“An Experiment”

Auditions will be held at the Leduc Drama Society Playhouse (4701A 44 Street, Leduc) on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 from 6-8pm and consist of cold reads from the script. Please email director, Emily Rutledge at [email protected] to book a time slot.
Synopsis:
Portrayed in a fantasy world, five confused participants wake up with no memory of their past life… with only one word, a personality descriptor printed on their shirts. The doctor explains each is here willingly and will be compensated for their participation in a research study. Will the participants assigned attributes affect their behaviour when put under extreme duress? The Hunger Games meets Survivor in this experiment. A simple to stage one-act play, approximately 30 minutes in length.
Casting requirements:
6 actors, gender flexible
Devious: a participant who insists they are NOT devious
Compassionate: a participant who does not handle pressure well
Orderly: a participant who is a rule follower
Impulsive: a participant who is impulsive throughout
Courageous: a participant who is courageous and decisive
Dr. Soles: the lead scientist and conductor of the experiment
