

![]() Len has been actively involved with the Leduc Drama Society for more than 25 years. He has done comedies and dramas, but his real love has always been musicals. Some of his favourites include ‘Company’, ‘Hello, Dolly!’ and ‘The Wedding Singer’. Over the years he has seen many changes and worked with some great people, but the young people in this show are a real standout. The talent is sure to blow you away because it has blown him away. Let yourself be taken back to an era of great music and crazy times and just enjoy. ![]() After a brief time out of Canada, Matteo is pleased to be part of ‘Cry-Baby’, his first turn with the Leduc Drama Society, having been part of Festival Place productions of ‘Elf - The Musical’, ‘The Music Man’, ‘James and the Giant Peach’, ‘Fiddler On The Roof’, and ‘Charlotte’s Web’. He has also participated in revues with Theatre Alberta, having cut his early acting teeth with the Nextfest Arts Company and sessional instruction with the Citadel Theatre. Matteo is happy to be a part of this production, and truly looks forward to this amazing show!

![]() Sam loves musical theatre and has been singing and performing since the age of 10. She has been in musicals such as Rodgers and Hammerstein’s ‘Cinderella’, in which she played Cinderella, ‘Legally Blonde the Musical’, ‘Les Miserables’, ‘Peter Pan’, and ‘Into the Woods’. She studied opera at the University of Lethbridge. She took a break from theatre to have her 5 children and is very excited to be back on stage. This is her first performance with Leduc Drama Society and she looks forward to many more in the future. ![]() This is Sophia’s first production with Leduc Drama Society. She is beyond grateful to be a member of this wondrously talented and kind team. She has already learned so much from each and every person despite a short time together. Sophia started her career as a dancer at Flexpointe Studios and currently dances at Shelly’s Dance Company. Sophia used her previous training as help to pursue acting, singing, modelling, photography and most recently, character performing with Glass Slipper Entertainment. ![]() Indya is thrilled to be a part of ‘Cry-Baby The Musical’! Indya has performed in productions of ‘Seussical The Musical’ and ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’. She would like to thank her family for their support, especially her husband and daughter who have heard one too many renditions of Screw Loose! She would also like to thank the Leduc Drama Society for welcoming her so lovingly into their family. This is her first show with LDS and she couldn’t be more thrilled with her experience and getting to work with this amazing cast and crew. Kendra has had a passion for theatre that she has pursued since childhood, and is a graduate of Grant Macewan’s Musical Theatre program. Her past credits include ‘City of Angels’ (Donna//Macewan University), ‘The Great Gatsby’ (Jordan//Walterdale Theatre), ‘Imaginary Friend’ (Juliet//Straight Edge Theatre), ‘The Nightingale (Nightingale/Thousand Faces Festival). She would like to extend her thanks to the talented cast, everybody behind the scenes, and the audience who came out to support some awesome local theatre. Drape, or Square, get ready to be wild and bad for an evening and remember, forever starts tonight. ![]() Leanne has been a member of Leduc Drama Society for over 30 years, involved in over a dozen productions including ‘Evita’, ‘The Merry Widow’, ‘Grand Hotel’, ‘Spirits of the Orpheum’, ‘Gold Dust’, ‘Dial M for Murder’, ‘The Addams Family Musical’….just to name a few! After taking a seven year hiatus, Leanne is very grateful and excited to be back on stage playing the part of the only-slightly-flawed, almost perfect, Mrs. Vernon-Williams. Leanne would like to thank our director Megan & musical director, Erin for giving her this opportunity and the amazing cast & crew for bringing this production to the stage. Enjoy the show! ![]() Originally from Churchill Manitoba, Joe has lived in Leduc since 1973 (minus a few years spent in Yellowknife where he met the love of his life, Barb). How did he get involved with the Leduc Drama Society? He was watching Global News and they were doing a piece on “Geri-Actors” and he thought to himself that he’d like to try that! He’s thankful for the support and patience from the other members of the cast and crew. Joe loves to sing and this show has helped step up his dancing and singing abilities. Thank you and enjoy the show, Joe’s debut as a “Geri-Actor”. ![]() This will be Alex’s 4th show with Leduc Drama Society. Alex hasn’t been in a show for a while now, so he is very excited to be back on stage and be doing the thing he loves most. Alex would like to thank his incredible director and friend Megan for pushing him to do ‘Cry-Baby’. Alex enjoys singing, dancing and modelling, as well as hanging out with friends. When he isn’t on stage Alex is working as a cashier at Safeway and sings to fellow coworkers all the musical theatre songs he knows in his spare time. Alex hopes you enjoy the show and hopes to see you at Turkey Point. ![]() Alex is new to the 'big time' theatre scene. He comes from a musical family and attended Suzuki Charter School in Edmonton where he learned cello. With his school, he participated in a musical production of ‘Alice in Wonderland’ as the King of Hearts. He loves to dance and sing and hopes to pursue theatre and swing dancing. He is very excited to be part of the cast of ‘Cry-Baby’ and looks forward to being in more shows in the future. ![]() Danielle is making her return to musical theatre after many years of being away from it. She has been in performances of ‘Oklahoma’ and ‘The Sound of Music’, as well as several original productions. Most of her performing took place in the Montreal area where she grew up. She has also sung in bands and choirs over the years and is happy to be back on stage. |
