Committees
The Leduc Drama Society relies on Committees populated by its volunteer members to conduct various business for the Society. If you are interested in participating on one of our committees, please contact the Society directly.
Dramaturge
The Dramaturge Committee is a standing committee of the Society made up of General Members of the Society, not including Board Members. Its mandate is to present a recommended slate of plays and musicals to the Board for determining the Society’s season of productions. It is chaired by the Artistic Director.
Social Committee
The Social Committee is a standing committee of the Society made up of General Members of the Society, not including Board Members. Its mandate is to organize and execute social events to engage and entertain the membership, while also providing opportunities for fundraising. It is chaired by the Secretary.
Nomination Committee
The Nomination Committee is in charge of organizing and operating the election at the Annual General Meeting. It is also in charge of soliciting nominations prior to and during the Annual General Meeting.
Front of House Committee
Two Society Members coordinate the Front of House for all of the Society's shows at the Maclab Centre for the Performing Arts. Coordinators provide oversight of all 50/50 Ticket Sales including soliciting volunteers with the help of the Board of Directors.
Volunteers on this Committee that are not Coordinators are expected to provide support to the Coordinators where/when possible, sell 50/50 tickets, and conduct surveys with audience members.
