The Leduc Drama Society's mission is to present quality theatrical productions to enrich, educate, and entertain our volunteers membership, Leduc, and surrounding communities.

The Leduc Drama Society was founded in 1980 as a not-for-profit, year-round, amateur dramatics group which stages an energetic and diverse entertainment programme for its audiences. The Society strives to provide a supportive environment where everyone is welcome, regardless of skill level, ability, or background. Volunteers are essential to the success of the Society.

The Society encourages cultural and artistic growth, fellowship, and excellence of its members while fostering an enthusiastic, respected, and hard-working corps of individuals who serve as volunteers and Board members.

Our Key Objectives are:
  • To engender a theatre environment that is welcoming, inclusive, and open to all sections of the community.
  • To enhance the Theatre's reputation, maintain a high profile, and become a vital component of the public and cultural life of Leduc and Area.
  • To produce work that both satisfies and challenges the Society’s audiences and members.
  • To offer opportunities to develop theatre and performance skills and develop talent.
  • To collaborate with others in the community of Leduc to enhance and extend the quality and scope of our productions and other activities.
  • To maintain and enhance the Society through the effective and efficient management of the organization and to operate in a responsible and accountable manner to sustain financial accountability.
